On today's show... several tracks produced by the former co-owner of Atlantic Records, Jerry Wexler, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 91. Wexler, who is credited with coining the phrase "rhythm & blues" when he was writing for Billboard in the '40s, produced seminal recordings by Ruth Brown, Ray Charles, Solomon Burke, Aretha Franklin, and more.
