PPT, which airs the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month from 8-9 PM, is a bi-weekly talk show which highlights interesting people, places and things that are helping to make a positive impact on the community.
Charing Ball is the host of People, Places and Things and is a seasoned and respected journalist. In her seven years as the staff writer for the Germantown Courier and Mt. Airy Times Express, she has learned that behind every community group, grassroot movement, new business or non-profit, and lyric and stage peformance are interesting people with great stories to tell.

returns for a 2nd season.
 And once again, we're all about social change!!!

On Monday, August 4th., we'll ease back from the summer break with a discussion on the local [independent] movie making scene with Matt Conant, co-founder of Project Twenty One, a 21 day film festival/competition happening right now. Hear live soundbites and interviews from Project Twenty One's opening ceremony in PP&T's new Community Remix segment.

Germantown Poetry Festival
Join Yolanda Wisher and Mark Palacio, founding members of the Germantown Poetry Festival, as they discuss how this free, outdoor "poetry reading meets block party" festival, scheduled for April 19th in Vernon Park, is helping to galvanize young people around the positive and creative energy of poetry.
Also, Join Charing Ball as she hangs-up on cell phone companies that abuses customers with bogus charges.

1.  Ms. Ball may be telling stories at First Person Arts' Story Slam, Tuesday, March 25 at l'Etage, 6th and Bainbridge.  Doors open at 8:30 p.m.

 2. Or maybe she will be at the screening of "Propaganda and the Promise Land," Wednesday March 26, at UPenn Campus, 3601 Locust Walk at 7 p.m. 

3. Or perhaps she will be stuffing her face at The Philadelphia Young Entreprenuer Program Networking Mixer, Thursday March 27, 6:30 p.m. at North By Northwest, Germantown and Mt. Airy avenues.

4. Or she could skip that event and go to Lyrical Word, hosted by Gtown Radio's own Tiffani "La Diva Noir" Dean, also Thursday March 27th, 8 p.m. at Art Noir, 72th and Ogontz Avenue.

5. Or she could be at the Fuze Poetry Slam, Friday 28th, 8 p.m. at Infusion Coffee and Tea, 7133 Germantown Avenue.

Also, Charing Ball will fill you guys in on how her own quit smoking attempt lead to dinner with the Philadelphia Eagles.
