She is co-director of Sagewriters Associates which provides “Healing with Words” and “Holistic Re-entry for Families Project” as well as a high school course, “Healing with Words.” An award-winning writer and artist, she co-directed “Justice Month” in March which presented 28 prison-related events culminating in a conference on alternatives, “Locked Up: Keys to Prison Change” with Sister Helen Prejean, Angela Davis & Sonia Sanchez.
