After a great appearance on WURD-900 AM with Aqueelah Jamal last Friday, Feldie's back at you with another 2 hours of jazz, rhythm & blues, and more on Lucky Old Souls.  On today's show... several tracks produced by the former co-owner of Atlantic Records, Jerry Wexler, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 91.  Wexler, who is credited with coining the phrase "rhythm & blues" when he was writing for Billboard in the '40s, produced seminal recordings by Ruth Brown, Ray Charles, Solomon Burke, Aretha Franklin, and more.

You'll also hear a few tracks from one of the great trumpeters of the 1940s, Howard McGhee

All that and plenty of surprises, too...
