G-Town Radio Is Seeking Two Paid Part Time Instructors

Audio Production Instructor

Job Description:
This instructor position is funded by a grant from the Independence Public Media Foundation to train community members to share their voices in the public sphere. G-Town Radio’s Education Committee is seeking an instructor to teach Introduction to Audio Production for Radio Broadcasting. Do you have a demonstrated knowledge of audio production and a passion to share your enthusiasm? We would love to hear from you.

Goal: Students will learn how to plan accordingly for all stages of production from idea development to basic audio production. The workshop will also present participants with different production options for working from home, producing virtual productions, and working safely in the field. By the end of the course students will have produced an audio segment to air on 92.9FM WGGT-LP Gtownradio.com

Position requirements:
Lead 2 (two) 5 (five) week courses early Summer 2022 and early Fall 2022 on audio production
Work with the education committee in developing the curriculum
Available to work with students outside classroom hours as needed
Work with Education Committee to evaluate program deliverables and regular status reports

Qualifications:
Experience in Radio/Audio Production
Enjoys Teaching
Knowledge of Community Media
Excellent Communication Skills
Flexible – Able to alter instruction to meet the group or individual need
Creative and Engaging

Compensation: $1750 per course

Audio Storytelling Instructor

Job Description:
This instructor position is funded by a grant from the Independence Public Media Foundation to train community members to share their voices in the public sphere. G-Town Radio’s Education Committee is seeking an Audio Storytelling Instructor. Do you have a demonstrated passion for sharing the stories and knowledge of our community? We would love to hear from you?

Goal: Students will learn how to plan accordingly for all stages of production to develop content to showcase their stories to the community. The workshop will also present participants with different production options for working from home, producing virtual and working safely in the field.
By the end of the course students will have produced an audio segment to air on 92.9FM WGGT-LP Gtownradio.com
