ITS’ THAT TIME OF THE YEAR
OUR ANNUAL FUND DRIVE IS HERE!

A NOTE FROM STATION MANAGER TOM CASETTA

Community, in general, will be of the utmost importance in the coming years and G-Town Radio is here for you. Community is part of our name and a vital part of our mission. We believe that people have a voice and they need a place to share their concerns, tell their stories, fuel their passions and offer comfort and build community to make this world a better, kinder, safer and more equitable place for all.

If you value independent media and voices, anywhere, then this is your chance to not only be counted, but to make your voice count by adding it to the many that already rightfully see G-Town Radio/WGGT-LP as a NW Philadelphia institution and leader in community radio. We need your support and participation now more than ever, so we kindly ask that you become a supporting member of YOUR community radio station.

We are not associated with a public radio network or an educational institution like many other public radio stations. We are an all volunteer 501(c)3 community organization. We are funded by support from our listeners.

When you become a supporting member of G-Town Radio, you:

  • Show love to your amazing neighbors who have responded in meaningful ways—leading conversations about your concerns and passion, providing comfort or escape with their music and musings, or offering critical information during times of need.
  • Cover the growing costs of music licensing fees, rent on the antenna site, insurance policies, studio rent, and equipment replacement that keep us operating along with daily operation costs.
  • Protect our airwaves and media from commercial, capitalistic powers.
  • Sustain and develop great, original programming that you won’t find anywhere else.
  • Keep local news and community discussion alive.
  • Help us continue documenting the many stories of our amazing neighbors.
  • Bring our community together for more in-person events and celebrations.
  • And much, much more!

Become a member today by making a donation, of any size.

Thank you for supporting your local radio makers and bringing us into your homes.  We are here for you.

With deep gratitude,
Tom Casetta, Station Manager
