Dr. Christopher Ojeda Discusses His Forthcoming Book- “The Sad Citizen” on Grief Journeys

Just in time for Election Day: On the Friday, October 25th episode of “Grief Journeys” heard on –G-town Radio/WGGT-LP 92.9.

Host Janice Tosto speaks with Dr. Christopher Ojeda, pictured here, Assistant Professor of Political Science, Department of Political Science at the University of California, Merced. Dr. Ojeda will be discussing his forthcoming book “The Sad Citizen.”

Dr. Ojeda studies how citizens think about and engage with politics. He is especially interested in how poverty and mental health shape citizen engagement. His current book project “The Sad Citizen” explores how contemporary democratic politics makes citizens feel depressed.
