Powerful New Greener Energy Applications

Mark Z. Jacobson is a professor of civil and environmental engineering at Stanford University and a leading expert on clean, renewable energy solutions. Mark Z. Jacobson’s career has focused on better understanding air pollution and climate problems and developing large-scale clean, renewable energy solutions to them.  He will talk about firebrick heat storage technology, and how this system could be a much better option for industrial processes that need high heat than either batteries or fossil fuels.

Bob Keefe is E2’s executive director, overseeing all aspects of E2’s work and its staff and chapters stretching from New York to San Diego. He speaks regularly about the clean energy economy and the economic benefits of smart environmental policies. He has testified before Congress and numerous state legislatures, appeared on many main stream  media outlets, and written various books about climate change economics.  He will give an overview of the Inflation Reduction Act’s effect on the economy, job growth, and the reduction of green house gases.
