Every month in 2025, we will be highlighting one G-Town Radio volunteer programmer, board member, or organizer in our newsletter.
This month, our spotlight is on Chuck Wortham, host of Paisley Underground.
You can hear Paisley Underground every Wednesday 1pm-2pm on G-Town Radio WGGT-LP 92.9 FM and online at gtownradio.com
What do you do for G-Town Radio?
I am a programmer. My show is titled “The Paisley Underground” and it’s on Wednesdays 1pm-2pm.
How long have you been volunteering for G-Town Radio?
I’ll be a member of the station about three years this August.
How did you first get involved with G-Town Radio?
I saw a segment about the station on public access TV, contacted the station and became a programmer very soon after.
What is your favorite thing about working in Community Radio?
My favorite part is that I’m not tied to any playlist and I can turn people on to 60’s music that they might be familiar with.
What do you do when you are not volunteering with G-Town Radio?
I’m a singer-songwriter.
How can people get in touch with you?
I can be reached at dmworth.cw@gmail.com.
You can hear Paisley Underground every Wednesday 1pm – 2pm.
