What do you do for G-Town Radio?
I work on graphic design and marketing projects, handling things from posters and stickers to website and social media graphics. I’ve done some social media advertising as well. Lots of great programming at G-Town, so there’s never a lack of great material!
How long have you been volunteering for G-Town Radio?
I’ve been volunteering with G-Town Radio for nearly two years now.
How did you first get involved with G-Town Radio?
I moved back to Philly a few years ago and drove under a G-Town Radio banner on Germantown Ave. Loving what I heard on the radio, I popped over to the website and saw a call for volunteers. And here we are!
What is your favorite thing about working in Community Radio?
Oh, definitely the “community” part. This is a unique and wonderful corner of the world with loads of stories to share. I love being a part of getting that on the airwaves.
What do you do when you are not volunteering with G-Town Radio?
Beyond working full time for an environmental fundraising group, I like making music (jazzy and electronic stuff) and doing various gardening projects.
Anything else you would like to add?
Just a big shout out to everyone at the station — keep up the fabulous work!
