Welcome to The Germantown Examiner, a news discussion program produced in
Germantown by Germantown community radio.
Every third Thursday, we explore important issues and events with beat journalists and
other subject matter experts. If it matters to Philly it matters to us and if you want to add
your two cents send us an email at info@gtownradio.com.
On this episode we will be discussing voting. Our guests are Carter Walker, senior
reporter at VoteBeat, and Lauren Cristella, CEO and president of the Committee of 70.
VoteBeat works to provide nonpartisan local reporting on elections and election issues.
The committee of 70 has worked for good government since 1904 and advocates for
improving elections in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania and works to educate and engage
voters so they can confidently cast their ballots.
