We hope G-Town Radio has been a local source of comfort and community news during these times. Our community of listeners means the world to us. We wouldn’t be here engaging the community, telling the stories, sharing the music, reliably communicating information to our community in NW Philly without your support. We hope we can count on your continued support in reaching our annual fund drive goal of $15,000.

You show love to the amazing artists, musicians, writers, theatre creators, chefs, cartoonists, psychologists, and many other inspiring hometown heroes who’ve been featured on our segments. And you say “thank you” to your neighbors, friends, family members, coworkers, and other community members who keep this volunteer-led initiative going.

Your dollars are also immediately put to use to cover our operating expenses. You’ll help fund:

Equipment and studio maintenance
Music licensing fees
Studio and antenna site rents
Mic socks and sanitizer (especially important during covid-19!)

We took lessons we learned during the pandemic to continue to grow and bring new voices to our airwaves. Our volunteer staff and board began strategic planning, looking ahead to ensure G-Town Radio thrives into the future. Our community needs G-Town radio to be there to cover the local news, share stories, and continue to be a source of comfort.

G-town Radio is a grassroots community radio station that can be heard on the FM dial as WGGT-LP (92.9 FM). Accomplishing our goals requires a lot of hard work from our dedicated volunteers. It also requires a steady stream of money to keep serving the community. If you value what we do please consider making a donation. G-town Radio is a tax exempt non-profit (501(c)(3)) organization. All donations are tax deductible.
