Many people scoff when they hear the term gentrification, worried that the influx of wealth and the redevelopment of their neighborhoods will ultimately mean their displacement. But there are plenty of other people who hear the term and are heartened by the possibilities of a greater quality of life.

Join WHYY and the Joseph E. Coleman branch of the Free Library of Philadelphia as we explore the hope and harm caused by gentrification and discuss how to balance change and continuity.
