Calling All Rising Seniors

The University of Pennsylvania Rising Scholar Success Academy (PennRSSA) is a free, virtual, six-week summer program designed for rising high school seniors across Philadelphia. Originally launched in July 2020 as the Rising Senior Summer Academy, the program uses a combination of synchronous and asynchronous programming to offer high-caliber academic enrichment, college preparation, and career exploration.

The program is open to any student in a School District of Philadelphia, Archdiocese of Philadelphia, or Philadelphia public charter school who is on track to graduate in 2023-24. Students must also be willing and able to complete virtual assignments, participate in live Zoom sessions, and engage in weekly check-ins with their “Pod” virtually.

This year’s program dates are Tuesday, June 20 – Thursday, July 27.
