My name is Nicky Spins, the host of Nothin’ But Wax. At a young age I was infatuated with music, and it plays a big role in my life to this day.
During the day I work for a company called Amramp Accessibility based in Philadelphia. We install ramps, stair lifts, grab bars, vertical platform lifts etc. My responsibility is to come up with creative content for our social media sites.
At night and on weekends I work as a DJ doing gigs around Philadelphia and have a great time spinning tracks on the dance floor. Seeing people smile, dancing, singing and just having a fun time always makes my night. I tell people DJing is an escape. It’s nice to leave all of your worries aside for a couple hours to have some fun!
