Stories and poems for young and old, recorded by Librivox volunteers. Stories from around the world, including Aesop’s fables, readings from Alice in Wonderland, German fairy tales, scary stories by Edgar Allen Poe and fanciful tales from China and Arabia.
In the Neighborhood
Tim Brown of Neighborhood Networks introduces this varied series of programs that aim to educate listeners on issues of importance to Philadelphians – including programs that discuss the short-term and long-term impacts of environmental policies on human health, programs that discuss creative ways to finance Philadelphia’s future, and programs that cover local initiatives like saving our transportation system or increasing voter turnout.
